This is my theme song for my life. God sees them all. He sees you, too! This song will touch millions of lives!
God is good and God is faithful. To use this song at this time for His purpose. Many have reached out saying what it has meant to them. What a blessing the whole experience has been. If this is your first time hearing it, I pray that God speaks to you through this simple message. Know that he cares for you and knows you and is ready to meet you where you are.

Sammy wrote this song in the early 90s when he was in a Christian rock band. Fast forward 30+ years later…. Out of the blue a former bandmate, Bud Wohlhueter contacted him about this song and wanted to use it as a topic for a book he was writing based on the lyrics and the scripture it was derived from. Sammy couldn’t believe Bud remembered it! It was never recorded and never performed live. Sammy had to dig deep in the archives (of his head) for this one. He didn’t have any recording of the song and had to recall it just by singing it over and over with help from Bud. He took his simplistic song and got Stefan Willmert (one of StoneEcho’s lead guitarists) to add to and enhance the music. Then StoneEcho worked to get it to what you are hearing today.
30 years…never underestimate anything you say or do. God’s timing is everything and who needs to hear it is hearing it now.
Does God See Me?
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:28-31 (NKJV)
~ Forget About Yourself ~
29-31 “What’s the price of a pet canary? Some loose change, right? And God cares what happens to it even more than you do. He pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail—even numbering the hairs on your head! So don’t be intimidated by all this bully talk. You’re worth more than a million canaries. The Message
He Takes Care of the Every Sparrow...
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God. Psalms 84:3 (NKJV)
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? Let's put that into today's currency. Yes, two sparrows are sold for a penny, yet God sees them very clearly and caringly. Guess What? He sees you, too. You are on His mind. He loves you. You matter to him. Therefore, shake off the feelings of being invisible or insignificant. You cannot be such because your Heavenly Father knows your name. Do you know Him? Can you say, "He knows MY name?"
Decisions, decisions, decisions! Your life is the summation of your choices. And, boy do we make some doozies. We have all been there. Nevertheless, poor decisions do not write you off God's heart. God specializes in creating a comeback story. Sure, you may have to face your consequences, but you will NEVER face them alone. God works best when He is all you've got. Lean into His love for you. It changes everything. He knows your name.
Stuff! If I just had more stuff, then I would feel loved. You can race after the newest car, home, job, cell phone, or clothing. Many do. In the end, you are left with a broken heart because presents never replace the need for "His presence". Stop trying to buy your happiness. It just will not work. If you have stuffed your heart full of toys and modern convenience only to be left broken and blind, then run to your "Abba Father". He knows your name.
The best of intentions is where everything starts. For many, they set out to make a difference in the lives of others. Nonetheless, in the middle, they are faced with truth opportunities. It is easy to compromise when we think no one is looking. Yet, truth is not a nice idea. Truth is a person, Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to God except through me." When Truth comes to test you, will you know His name?
This is a song for Ages to come...
