Marvin Robert discovered his gift of writing while taking graduate study classes at Liberty University. Many of his professors were saying the same, “You have an amazing talent for writing. Maybe, God is going to use you as a writer one day!” One professor even compared him to the accomplished writer, Max Lucado. He was floored by that one. Marvin Robert has many of his books on his shelves. He felt called by God to write his first book and it was published in August 2019. Since then, Marvin Robert has authored six other books and been a ghost writer for a seventh book. You could say that writing is now in his blood as he endeavors to write many more books in his future. Enjoy the content of each manuscript that Marvin writes.

Marvin Robert is passionate about giving people encouragement and hope. He believes that with God, changed lives are still possible today. He is a published author and a featured Keynote speaker. Marvin Robert writes on topics related to real-life dynamics and offers healing, help, and hope for individuals everywhere. Note: Bud has been his nickname for decades.
Marvin Robert has earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, he obtained both a Master's and a Doctorate in Systematic Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Next, he received an Associate of Science in Marketing Management and Leadership. Finally, in 2018, Marvin Robert attained a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University Online.
Also, Marvin Robert holds a certification in Professional Life Coaching, obtained in 2012. In August 2023, Marvin Robert received another Professional Life Coach certification through Light University, a division of the American Association of Christian Counselors' educational arm. In March 2025, he received a Master's Diploma in Mental Health Coaching with a Life Recovery Focus from Light University.
Lastly, Marvin Robert is an Ordained Minister through Christian Global Outreach Ministries based in Nashville, Tn. Christian Global Outreach Ministries began to bridge people who wanted to become Christian ministers with the ability to do so. In fact, their slogan is "We are a Bridge." Marvin Robert has been ordained with CGOM since 2017.

Marvin Robert is No Ordinary Speaker
Relevent, Timely, Practical and Encouraging
Marvin Robert has just finished 40 years in the trenches of Corporate America as a Mechanical Engineer. Concurrently, he has been serving faithfully in bi-vocational ministry during those 4 decades in various ministry roles. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering along with a Masters and Doctorate in Theology. Next, Marvin went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. Lastly, in 2024, he received a Master's diploma from Light University (AACC) in Mental Health Coaching with a focus in Life Recovery.
Marvin Robert is an avid writer and has published 7 books thus far and continues to write. He has many more books in mind. He certainly can create them as he now steps into semi-retirement status nearing in 2026 and shifts his focus to things he enjoys doing and that brings honor to God and creates positive life-change in others. These include preaching and teaching the Bible, faith-based counseling, professional life coaching, public speaking, ghost writing for others, and lastly, teaching drums to young students.
On a personal note, Marvin's life has had its share of ups and downs. Life has not always been easy for Marvin Robert to navigate. Married at age 27, he started a young family with two children, a daughter and son. However, after 16 years of marriage (2008), he was touched with the sting of infidelity and found himself alone at 43 years of age with a 11-year daughter (Raleigh) and 7-year-old son (Jake). It was a very difficult season of picking up the broken pieces of his life.
However, God's goodness met Marvin's heart-felt need and he remarried a special Island Girl from Trinidad named Lorraine in 2010. They have been married 15 years now (2025). Desiring to have children of their own, in August 2019, God graciously answered their prayers with a set of twins, a boy and a girl who are six years of age. Now, Marvin has a delightful Father's Day each year with four children to share in the celebration that he holds so dear. Jake is now 25 and engaged to Reagan. Raleigh is 29 and is married to Garrett. We have such memorable gatherings.
